Playaside is a platform for organizing community sports: create communities, schedule matches, manage player availability, generate teams (including live drafts), chat in real time, and handle payments.
Players who want to find matches, mark availability, join teams, and chat with teammates. Community admins/managers who want to run matches and manage members.
You can join the waitlist with your email, and you’ll receive a confirmation email. Once invited, you can sign in and start joining communities and matches.
Playaside supports Google sign-in and uses secure, cookie-based authentication so you can stay signed in across sessions.
Communities are groups (clubs, leagues, local groups) where members can chat, organize matches, and manage roles like captain or community admin/manager.
Admins/managers create a match with the key details (time, location/venue, capacity, pricing if applicable). Players can then view match details and take part by registering and setting their availability.
Availability is how you confirm whether you can play. It helps organizers finalize numbers, generate teams, and avoid last‑minute surprises.
Open the match and mark your availability (so the organizer knows if you’re in). If you haven’t set it close to kickoff, you may get a reminder notification.
